Photo Title:

Multiple Personalities

Photographer:

Ben Horne

Location of Photograph:

San Diego, California

What the photographer likes about the image:

This is a composite of over a dozen separate pictures of my friend. The camera was placed on a tripod, and the shutter was triggered by a remote control to avoid camera shake. Each photo was loaded into a separate layer in Photoshop. Then the background of each layer (except the bottom layer) was cut out. It turned out as almost flawless digital editing.

Techniques Used:

Tripod mounted camera. Photoshop cut and paste layering.

Things to notice:

All shadows and reflections are retained in the final composition. Since the background is the same in every photo, the editing was very simple. Despite the fact that my friend appears in the photo multiple times, it is very difficult to find evidence of editing.
