What the photographer likes about the image:	The contrast in meanings between the flower and the concrete bridge. The diagonal composition makes the composition dynamic.
Techniques Used:	I hiked in a couple of miles to get to this spot. You can probably imagine what I looked like trying to get this photo... flat on my back with my head in a bush and the camera glued to my face. My favorite part was picking the leaves, pebbles, and thorns out of my hair and clothing when I was done. I wish I had a photo of me taking this photo!
Things to notice:	The unusual angle makes the picture. Vertical format was essential. Shallow depth of field adds meaning. Thousands of people drive by this freeway overpass every day and never stop to notice.
